Introduction:
If you find your I91CT camera can't be charged, you can follow the steps to solve the problem.
Steps:
1. Confirm the charging icon status in the APP.
Refer to the table below to check the displayed icon and identify the specific status.
The camera's charging icon is located in the upper-right corner of the live view screen.
2. Observe the Charging Indicator Light
The camera's charging indicator light remains off when charging normally via the solar panel.
When charging normally via USB, the camera's indicator light will be a solid green.
The charging indicator light is marked in the image below.
3. Troubleshoot Based on the Icon Status
Icon 1 Displayed: USB Charging Normal - No Action Required.
Icon 2 Displayed: Solar Panel Connected — Not Charging.
Cause Investigation:
- Check the installation position of the solar panel to ensure adequate sunlight exposure.
Installation Location: Choose a spot with maximum sunlight exposure and no obstructions (e.g., trees, eaves). The panel requires 23 hours of direct sunlight daily. Hemisphere-Specific Angle: Northern Hemisphere: Optimal angle =Local Latitude +5° Southern Hemisphere: Optimal angle=Local Latitude +5°
- If there is sunlight, switch to USB charging to verify functionality.
- If USB charging works normally, the solar panel hardware may be faulty and require replacement.
- If there is no sunlight, adjust the solar panel's position to a location with sufficient sunlight.
- Check if the connection cable is loose or has poor contact.
- In snowy weather, clear any accumulated snow from the surface of the solar panel.
Icon 3 Displayed: Solar Charging Normal - No Action Required.
Icon 4 Displayed: Ambient Temperature Below-10C-Solar Charging Paused, Will Resume Automatically When Temperature Rises.
Icon 5 Displayed: Ambient Temperature Above 60℃ — Solar Charging Paused, Will Resume Automatically When Temperature Drops.
Icon 6 Displayed: No USB Cable or Solar Panel Connection Detected.

If the indicator light is off, check if the USB cable or solar panel connection cable is loose or has poor contact. - If the connection is secure, replace the USB cable or power adapter (for USB charging), or check the solar panel connection cable (for solar charging scenarios).
